It snows here.
I moved the week of Thanksgiving, after packing up all my stuff at home and driving it in a giant truck
And driving it to lovely Tennessee
Driving by my beloved Vandy
And loading up the rest of my stuff that was chilling in storage in Nashville
with a lot of help
And then driving some more in things like... mountains and junk.
And then discovered Pennsylvania in all its rural glory, where they actually have cows that look like cows.
And moved into my new place
On my new street
And unpacked all of my stuff into my new home's kitchen
And living room
where my strangely colored couch actually works really well!
and I got to use one of my summer projects
as well as one of my spring projects and Christmas gifts
and a bunch of free and really cheap stuff to pull it all together. thrifting ftw.
And my new bedroom space
And my new living space of my very own
and just a leeeetle bit of Christmas decorations because I didn't feel like unpacking another box
I've made it down my crazy stairs safely so far
Through the streets of Philadelphia
To my new office and my new dream job that was worth waiting for
All the way to Christmas in Philadelphia
where I'll be wishing I was home but very grateful I am here.
Now, if anyone wants to invent a super high speech train from Philly to Dallas, that would be great.
