On a lovely spring day like this, I've been in a great mood. It's been a good day, all day long. Had clinic, got some errands done, drove around and listened to some good music, all nice. But at the same time, a huge nostalgia wave has broken over me like a little baby tsunami. Which I suppose would be just a normal wave.
Things I miss this time of year:
- going to get a huge cherry limeade at sonic after getting out of class in the early afternoon and just enjoying the nice day
- going to catch a baseball or a softball game, or even a tennis game, just to pass the time, enjoy the weather, watch the sunset, and maybe even get a free tshirt
- suiting up in my green and gold (lucky shoes included), packing my face paint, and playing my heart out on my horn while watching my team play their heart out on the court
- counting down the days to Dia, Easter break, and summer, and actually getting to take those days off
Yeah, we had it good. Now where's the closest Sonic?
